Live Auditions (Video Auditions Available)

Venue: George Watson’s College Music Department

Dates: Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 January 2026

Auditions are free and for in-person auditions, an accompanist will be provided. 

If you are unable to attend an in-person audition, you can submit a video audition. After applying, use the link in your confirmation email to make this request. Video auditions must be received by Wednesday 7 January 2026.

Requirements:

Please prepare:

• One piece of your choice (or an extract of) lasting no more than 7 minutes
• Prepared orchestral excerpts, which will be available after the closing date
• The audition will last between 10-15 minutes, and an accompanist will be available. Percussion applicants should request an accompanist by email following application if required.

The Audition panel will consist of two musicians: EYO Tutors and Musician Board Members.
