Chairman: David Elliott, formerly Director of Music, George Watson’s College
Director of Music at George Watson’s College from August 2004 to June 2022, David has a long association with EYO. In 1993, when Director of Music at The Latymer School in North London, his orchestra and choir took part in the Vienna International Festival of Youth and Music at the same time as the EYO sharing a concert in the Esterházy Palace at Eisenstadt outside Vienna.

Wendy studied piano at the RSAMD in Glasgow with Graeme McNaught, working with instrumentalists and singers, including Lisa Milne, Pat MacMahon and the Mansbridge String Quartet, before training as a Primary School teacher in London. She is now Principal Teacher in the Junior School at George Watson’s College in Edinburgh.

Easter Course Administrator and Orchestra Manager: Fiona Croal
Fiona studied Economics with Music at the University of St Andrews, and worked for the Scottish Chamber Orchestra as their Graduate Trainee in 2019-20 before training as a Primary School teacher. She joined EYO as Orchestra Manager in 2019 and is excited to take on the additional post of Easter Course Administrator for Season 2024.
