Summer Concerts 2019

After multiple sell-out performances in the last two years’ Edinburgh Festival Fringe, Edinburgh Youth Orchestra returns once again with an exciting and varied programme under the inspired direction of conductor Sian Edwards. The concert opens appropriately with Britten’s The Young Person’s Guide to the Orchestra. The orchestra, led by Freya Hall, is then joined by young soloist, Andreas Theocharous for the Vaughan Williams Tuba Concerto. Elgar’s ever-popular Enigma Variations forms the second half of the programme.
